It is extremely important to us, as a freight forwarder company, to have accurate and up-to-date information on our vehicles en route and to be able to contact them whenever necessary. By providing us with this possibility, NavCenter is a tool that has become a very important support for our daily work.
The detailed maps of the dispatcher software a precise view on the vehicle-fleet of the company is provided. The tool supports fast and easy monthly mileage accounting, and it represents a useful aid for the planning of service cycles. A service much preferred by our customers is the authorization we provide to them to follow from starting point to destination – via a web browser – the vehicles carrying their goods.

TopMap PLC has high mileage company cars. Activity of our staff members consists in conducting field surveys, therefore, they are constantly on the road. Even performances of 100,000 km per year are not rare. Moreover, staff members are allowed to use the cars for private purposes too, with the requirement of keeping accurate mileage record on these trips. To find out which car on what date completed a survey in a certain settlement is also a frequently arising need. NavCenter provides solutions for all of these issues.
Business and private trips can be distinguished using the iButton driver identification keys. Before departure, drivers identify themselves in the car with their iButton keys. Each driver will use two keys, one for business trips, another one for private trips. This is all that has to be done, the rest will be solved by NavCenter. Mileage records of business and private trips will be automatically distinguished in the monthly accounting. Many working hours can be saved by replacing paper-based inventory this way.
Another issue is to determine from the records survey activity from years ago of a certain vehicle. NavCenter is capable of supporting these search operations as well. An area has to be determined on the map (e.g. by selecting with a square the settlement on the map or selecting it as an object from the menu), and the software will run the query on the database, filtering the cars involved in the survey and the relevant dates.

Utility machines of Vakond Ltd. consume thousands of liters of diesel fuel, which in itself represents a considerable cost for our company. The support provided by NavCenter is perfect for the prevention of abuses involving fuel consumption, thanks to the possibility provided by the tool to monitor the amount of fuel in the tank of any of our machines.
The information on the amount of operating hours spent on a project by a certain machine is also important. These data can be queried in a simple way in NavCenter software. By selecting the area concerned, the dates on which the machine was at the site can be queried; with the dates known, we are able to check the operating hours spent and the amount of fuel consumed.
